First and foremost, Shane is a true professional and the most patient and understanding realtor that we have ever had the pleasure to work with. Over the years, we have worked with no less than 7 real estate agents in 3 states: Maryland, Delaware and Florida. We bought and sold a home in Florida, as well as a home in Delaware. The home that Shane guided and assisted us in closing on, here in Maryland, was the most challenging purchase due to the ongoing COVID crisis and the construction/building material shortage (we moved into a newly constructed home a month ago). Despite the perpetual delays in the construction and going to closing, Shane stood by us and provided his professional guidance throughout the entire process. At our request, Shane scheduled and “showed” us numerous “existing” homes throughout the state during the periods of time when we were losing faith in the builder. However, Shane never attempted to direct or pursuade us to settle on an existing home in order to expedite the purchase. To the contrary, when asked (and we did quite often), Shane would offer his pros and cons for each home that we viewed (multiple times for some homes). Shane’s patience is a true virtue and one that we simply don’t possess (certainly not to the degree he does). Shane was our agent for more than a year and a half, and although we may not need his professional talents(selling/buying another home), we consider Shane to be a true friend and a lifelong friend moving forward. We proudly recommend Shane to anyone who is in the market to buy or sell a home (or possibly seeking a rental home). Lastly, I can truly state that Shane is not in this line of business just for the money… the length of time, patience and effort that he invested in our home purchase effort is far greater in value than the commission that he “finally” received.
